Other information

An extract from The Historic Churches Preservation Trust is shown below :

"Dates from C12th with C14th Warwick Chapel & later tower. Victorian restorations removed external rendering & internal painted plasterwork, leaving only a small portion. This exposed older carved stone fragments along with a scratch dial. There is medieval glass in Warwick Chapel windows & north nave window houses 1924 stained glass by Archibald John Davies of Bromsgrove Guild of Applied Arts. Wall mounted memorials adorn some walls, earliest being 1598, with C19th tablets recording Coventry family members as Earls of Coventry were patrons. Church is set in churchyard with views across Severn plain to Malvern Hills. Small rural parish of Severn Stoke with Croome d'Abotot complements larger St Mary's, Kempsey with which shares joint benefice.".
