The following are various general Notices related to the churches, parish or community.
The list covers both St. Mary's and St. Denys and will be updated on a regular basis. See also the Newsletters page for the most up to date Newsletters which also contain notices.
To keep the length of the list manageable, after a period of time, old Notices will be moved to the Noticeboard - Old pages (one for each year).
Please contact the Webmaster if you have a Notice to add to the list. If you have a poster in electronic form, e.g. Word, that can be added too.

St. Mary’s Church Grand Draw 2010 - A Big Thank You & The List of Prize Winners A very Special Thank You to all who Sold and bought tickets for The Grand Draw, especially to all of our Loyal Team of people who sold tickets around their Local Area. Without all of you people our Annual Grand Draw would not be the success that it was this year and all of the previous ones as well. A number of local businesses and local people very kindly donated the prizes. Without your kind donations we could not organise this Grand Draw. Thank you once again. St. Mary’s Church Grand Draw is one of the Main Fund Raisers of our wonderful and ancient church. Thank you. Arthur Kelly, Grand Draw organiser.

Changes to the Church Wardens at St. Mary's The new year began for Church Wardens, following a special Licensing Service led by the Archdeacon, on 27th May in Ripple Church. We pray for Alan Plowman and Arthur Kelly who were both unanimously elected as Wardens at the AGM in March. We pray, too, for John Roe, David Lowe and Duncan Smith whose year as Deputy Wardens also began on 27th May. We thank them all for their willingness to serve and we wish them every blessing in their work at St. Mary’s. |

Peter's Sabbatical - Welcome Back to Peter We warmly welcome Peter back from his sabbatical on 3rd July. He will make his return at the Bottle Stall, on Saturday afternoon, at the Fete. So let us give him a very big welcome by collecting as many bottles for him as possible. It will be lovely to have Peter back with us. We hope and pray that he has had an enjoyable, interesting and, above all, restful and peaceful time. We very much look forward to hearing about it and especially to seeing his inspiring photography.
