"Hope 2008" is the churches' vision to reach out into our communities. We will be planning for this at our Youth meetings. See the Hope 2008 - website for details.

Salsa Dance evening Salsa dance evening at Kempsey Parish Hall at 7:30pm. Nigel and Karen Taylor have agreed to run this evening for the Youth Group and their families and friends. The maximum number is 40 people and we hope the youth group's families and friends will join us for this fun evening. To cover costs we suggest a donation of £5.00 per group of family and friends. We are having an American supper where people bring a plate of food which is then shared. Please also bring a bottle of something cool to drink because you will get very hot! Regarding footwear, trainers and heavy rubber soles tend to stick to the floor and Nigel recommends dance shoes or ordinary shoes with leather or plastic soles. Please let Ann and Chris know numbers as soon as possible because we will give priority to Youth Group before opening it out to others. |

Youth Service at St. Mary's Church The Youth service is on Sunday 9th November at 6:00pm. Many of you have already been preparing for this and we are very excited. The youth band 'Fusion' will be making their debut (WOW!!) and the dance group have been busy practicing. The next two rehearsals for the dance are on Sat 1 Nov at 10:00am and Sat 8 Nov at 10:00am. Alice and Briony are taking youth group on Fri 7 Nov (looking forward to that!) and we hope to provide time at the end of that evening when we can check through the youth service programme, so please bring with you everything which you are doing. |

*** CANCELLED *** - Harvest Festival Barn Dance *** Unfortunately this event has had to be cancelled. *** Harvest Supper & Barn dance on Friday 31st October at 7:00pm, at Kempsey Primary School. Tickets are £6.00 from churchwardens (or pay on door). It should be fun, especially watching Paul and Dave dancing!! Bring own drinks, glasses and cutlery. |
